The Opportunity: International Tax

At PwC, our people in international tax focus on helping Canadian and foreign companies navigate the complexities of their international operations to drive value and manage risk.

A career in our cross‑border tax practice will provide you with the opportunity to assist Canadian and foreign companies with their cross‑border investments, particularly in the context of mergers and acquisitions, financing, structuring or restructuring of their operations.

we provide various tax consultations in the context of cross‑border transactions, including the application and management of global minimum tax rules and tax treaties between Canada and various countries. Your work may span advising complex international tax matters, optimizing tax positions, and delivering strategic insights that transform intricate cross‑border challenges into confident, well‑informed business decisions.

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve:

- Enrolled in post‑secondary education in Administration
- An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
- A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate recent ideas
- Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills; an ability to think broadly and to ask questions about data, facts and other information to deliver quality to our clients
- Share and collaborate effectively with others, building relationships which are genuine and rooted in trust
- Ability to easily adapt and prioritize, demonstrating project management skills to handle changing priorities

This position is eligible for PwC Canada’s Award and Mentorship Programs.

The salary range for this position is $ 63,000- $73,000. Eligible employees will also have the opportunity to participate in our performance pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm‑wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
