Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Japanese Teacher to inspire my kid and I language learning journey. In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop our speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in Japanese. We are complete beginners and would love to build a strong foundation in Japanese in a fun, natural, and engaging way.

Your enthusiasm for teaching and strong communication skills will create a positive classroom environment where students feel motivated to achieve their language goals. This paid position offers an exciting prospect to make a meaningful impact on learners of all ages and backgrounds.

The ideal candidate:

- Is fluent or highly proficient in Japanese
- Has previous experience teaching Japanese, especially to beginners
- Has experience working with young children or enjoys teaching children
- Is patient, encouraging, and engaging
- Can make lessons fun and age-appropriate for a young child
- Can also provide structured instruction for an adult beginner
- Can teach basic Japanese conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, and writing
- Can create or recommend simple learning materials and activities
- Is reliable, professional, and punctual
- Ideally has some teaching or educational background

Experience





- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Japanese language to learners of various ages
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly
- Classroom experience is highly preferred, demonstrating the ability to manage diverse groups effectively
- Familiarity with different teaching tools and resources that enhance language instruction
- Passion for cultural exchange and fostering a love for the Japanese language among students

Schedule We are looking for approximately 2-5 lessons per week, with each lesson around 60–90 minutes.

We are looking for someone who can become a consistent teacher for our family and help us enjoy learning Japanese together. Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
