Job Summary

We are seeking a Jira Service Management Intake & Automation Developer to design, develop, and scale enterprise Jira Service Management solutions and workflow automation. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience with Jira Service Management, Jira REST APIs, workflow automation, Java/Spring Boot and/or Python, along with practical experience applying AI and intelligent automation to enterprise processes.

This role will focus on improving intake, classification, routing, approvals, SLA management, integrations, reporting, and operational efficiency across enterprise workflows.

Key Responsibilities

•

Design, configure, and scale Jira Service Management (JSM) portals, request types, forms, custom fields, workflows, approvals, queues, SLAs,



permissions, notifications, and validation rules.

•

Build automation to classify, prioritize, route, assign, and track requests with minimal manual intervention.

•

Develop reusable workflows for task creation, subtasks, dependencies, escalations, notifications, SLA management, and status transitions.

•

Develop production-grade Java applications and services, preferably using Spring Boot, to support Jira automation and enterprise workflow solutions.

•

Use Python and scripting languages to develop automation utilities, integrations, AI workflows, and operational tooling.

Develop and maintain REST APIs, webhooks, middleware, and event-driven integrations using
