We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our skilled team for local commercial electrical work in the Edmonton and Stony Plain area.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of electrical experience, with solid commercial experience, and be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. You should be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints, troubleshoot electrical systems, and complete quality work while following all safety requirements and electrical codes.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their workmanship.

Responsibilities

- Install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems on commercial projects
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Complete electrical installations according to project specifications
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques
- Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment safely and effectively
- Work with other trades, contractors, and project managers to keep projects on schedule
- Ensure all work complies with the Alberta Electrical Code, building codes, and company safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and protected work area
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality

Qualifications
- Valid Alberta Journeyman Electrician certification
- 3+ years of electrical experience
- Strong commercial electrical experience required




- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and commercial installations
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Available to start immediately

Safety Tickets – Assets The following are considered an asset:

- Other relevant construction safety tickets
