Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified, reliable, and detail‑oriented carpenter to join our small, professional team. The ideal candidate has strong renovation experience, works well independently, and takes pride in doing things right the first time. You’ll be involved in a wide range of projects, from structural framing to finishing work, and must be comfortable working in occupied homes and commercial spaces.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform high‑quality carpentry work including framing, drywall, flooring, trim, doors, and cabinetry installation
- Assist with full home renovations, basement developments, bathroom remodels, and commercial tenant improvements
- Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials with accuracy and efficiency
- Operate tools and equipment safely and responsibly
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Communicate clearly with clients, team members, and the owner
- Problem‑solve on site and adapt to renovation‑specific challenges
- Follow building codes, safety standards, and company procedures

Required Qualifications

- Journeyperson Carpenter certification or 5 years of proven renovation experience




- Strong knowledge of residential construction and renovation sequencing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labour
- Professional attitude, punctuality, and strong work ethic

Preferred Assets

- Experience with kitchens, bathrooms, basements, or commercial TI work
- Ability to mentor apprentices
- Knowledge of energy‑efficient building practices
- Comfort working directly with homeowners
- Small‑tool kit and basic personal equipment
