The Diesel

Mechanic will report to the Manager, Maintenance Services, performing skilled maintenance on diesel generators, pumps, and compressors. This role requires working with various engine brands such as Wartsila, Caterpillar, and John Deere.

Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections and preventive maintenance for wind turbines and diesel engines across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine and overhauls on diesel and gas generator sets
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical systems




- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and environmental programs
- Complete trip and equipment reports and prepare parts lists
- Provide training and support to operational staff Requirements:
- Journeyperson Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic certification
- Minimum five years of related experience
- Ability to interpret mechanical diagrams and manuals
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
