We are currently seeking a Civil Engineering Graduate to join our Linear Municipal Infrastructure team. Our team specializes in the critical networks that keep a community moving and connected, including water mains, sanitary sewers, stormwater systems, and roadways.

Assist project managers and engineers in the functional and detailed design of municipal infrastructure related to water supply, sewers, roads, land development site servicing, storm water management and waste management Assist project managers, engineers, environmental scientists and others on a variety of multidisciplinary design teams (including project engineers, planners, biologists, technologists, etc.) Complete design activities to maintain project schedules and ensure successful project completion,



including but not limited to; working in Civil3D, technical report writing, and field investigations. Travel to client locations and/or other Dillon offices for the purposes of executing your responsibilities, internal client relationship development, project research and project delivery Contribute to business development activities including client need research, preparation of project proposals and presentations Business travel to other Dillon offices Contribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in qualified associations and committees A degree in civil engineering ~ Registered as an engineer-in-training, or be eligible within six months ~Knowledge of the functional and detailed design of integrated municipal infrastructure including roads, sewers and watermains Understand a range of project design and implementation activities including development of design drawings and reports, contract document preparation, tendering, and contract administration Working knowledge of current AutoCAD software; working knowledge of Civil 3D/Land Desktop software will be considered an asset Knowledge of relevant municipal/provincial engineering standards and regulatory requirements Familiarity with local regulations, policies, guidelines,



and provincial and municipal permit requirements for environmental agencies Proven skills in detail design of municipal infrastructure Familiarity with both construction inspection and contract administration would be considered an asset It will be dependent on the successful applicant’s education, experience, and skills, in addition to internal equity and geographic region.

Dillon reserves the right to pay outside of the posted range, contingent on factors unrelated to an applicant’s gender or other status protected by provincial and/or federal law.
