KEY ACCOUNT / WAREHOUSE MANAGER

This position will be of interest to a recent retiree or homemaker (male or female) that wants to be home before and after school. The skill set is critical and the position is aimed at someone looking to scale down on their career without fully retiring OR someone that wants to participate in their children’s lives both before and after school.

A small “natural” packaged goods supplier, with listings in Loblaw and Shoppers Drug Mart, is looking for someone who wants “to do it all”. This hybrid position will require a variety of work elements and demand someone with the ability to multi-task; since the position will entail the entire process: from EDI entry TO packing and shipping TO Key Account sales. In essence, it is a Key Account Manager position with warehouse and shipping duties added on.

You will be reporting to the Owner, and the position will entail a weekly schedule of 24 hours (9 am to 3 pm); with Fridays off.

In this position, you will perform:

- KEY ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT – Arrange appointments and make new product presentations to the large retail accounts in the GTA. Key account management is a requirement.




- EDI - EDI knowledge is helpful but not necessary as it is fairly easy to understand. A willingness and ability to learn is all that is needed.
- SHIPPER - Pick small orders, each order fits onto one pallet. Arrange for delivery to retail account warehouse across Canada.

Your assets for this position:

Education: Post secondary

Experience: Minimum 5 years in key account management or sales with demonstrated success

Skills:

· Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task

· Attention to detail

· High initiative, self-motivation

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office; especially PowerPoint and Word

· Fluency in English

· This position must pass a post-offer background check

What HerbaMAX offers:

· Starting salary of $600 weekly with increase every 4 months for the first year

· 5% commission on any new listings achieved in major retail accounts

· Two weeks vacation for first 4 full years – Three weeks each year afterwards

· Shortened work day - 6 hours per day

· Long weekend – every weekend

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 per week
