Ace Core Cleaning is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and business-minded Lawyer to join our team. In this role, you will provide legal guidance and support across the company’s operations, helping protect Ace Core Cleaning’s interests while ensuring our business practices remain compliant with applicable laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and capable of handling a variety of legal matters involving contracts, clients, employees, vendors, business operations, and risk management. This is an opportunity to play an important role in supporting the continued growth and professional development of a growing cleaning services company.

Duties

- Conduct legal research and provide guidance on laws and regulations relevant to Ace Core Cleaning’s operations.
- Draft, review, and revise contracts, service agreements, employment documents, policies, notices, and other legal documents.
- Review client and vendor agreements to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate changes.
- Provide legal advice regarding business operations, employment matters, contracts, liability, compliance, and risk management.
- Assist with negotiating contracts and resolving disputes with clients, vendors, employees, contractors, and other parties.
- Help protect the company’s legal and financial interests in business transactions and service agreements.
- Assist with managing claims, disputes, and litigation matters, including coordinating with outside counsel when necessary.




- Ensure company policies and business practices remain consistent with applicable federal, state/provincial, and local requirements.
- Maintain organized legal records, contracts, correspondence, and case files.
- Work closely with management and internal teams to identify potential legal risks and develop practical solutions.
- Provide clear and understandable legal guidance to company leadership and non-legal team members.
- Support Ace Core Cleaning as the company expands into new markets, services, and business relationships.

Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Experience providing legal advice to businesses or organizations.
- Robust legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Experience drafting and reviewing contracts and business agreements.
- Strong negotiation and dispute-resolution skills.
- Knowledge of business, employment, contract, and liability law.
- Ability to identify legal risks and provide practical, business-focused recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive business information professionally.
- Experience with LexisNexis, Westlaw, or similar legal research platforms is preferred.

Pay: $60.00-$100.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON (Peel District)
