About the Company

Our client is seeking a hands-on Lead Agentic Automation Developer to join an intelligent automation team that is evolving from traditional robotic process automation toward agentic process automation.

About the Role

This role will focus on designing and building end-to-end solutions that combine AI agents, generative AI, automation, and enterprise integrations. You will work directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements, identify suitable use cases, recommend the right technologies, and personally take solutions through development, testing, deployment, hypercare, and production support. This is a senior individual contributor position.

The "Lead" title reflects the level of technical ownership required rather than people management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop enterprise AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform, and related Microsoft technologies.
- Build autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents, including agent scope, decision logic, guardrails, confidence thresholds, exception handling, audit trails, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
- Design multi-agent workflows and orchestration patterns.
- Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems, APIs, databases, SaaS applications, and automation platforms.
- Meet directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, document business needs, identify automation opportunities, and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Own the complete solution lifecycle, including business requirements, solution design, hands-on development, testing, deployment, hypercare, maintenance, and production support.
- Build solutions that combine AI agents, workflow automation, RPA, enterprise integrations, and human review processes.
- Modernize existing automation solutions by introducing AI and agentic capabilities where appropriate.

- Evaluate technology options based on scalability, maintainability, security, cost, risk, complexity, and business outcomes.
- Develop testing strategies covering functional, regression, integration, user acceptance, AI response validation, model output verification, confidence thresholds, exception handling, and human review workflows.
- Prepare business and technical documentation, including requirements documents, solution designs, process maps, technical specifications, deployment documentation, and runbooks.
- Contribute to development standards, code reviews, governance practices, and solution quality.
- Collaborate with AI, data, security, architecture, and technology teams on solutions requiring advanced AI patterns or enterprise integrations.

Qualifications

- Hands-on experience building AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Power Platform, including the delivery of production solutions.
- Experience building and deploying autonomous, semi-autonomous, or human-in-the-loop AI agents.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility and declarative agents.
- Knowledge of Azure AI Search, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, AI service integrations, confidence scoring, and responsible AI principles.
- Experience designing human-in-the-loop workflows for AI-enabled business processes.
- Experience integrating solutions with APIs, databases, SaaS applications, cloud services, and enterprise systems.
- Experience gathering business requirements, facilitating discovery sessions,

analyzing processes, and translating business needs into production-ready solutions.
- Ability to create business requirements documents, solution designs, process maps, technical specifications, and operational documentation.
- Knowledge of AI governance, explainability, monitoring, auditability, escalation paths, and exception handling.
- Experience testing AI and automation solutions, including response validation, exception scenarios, integration testing, and model output verification.
- Ability to independently own solutions from discovery through production support.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with UiPath or another enterprise intelligent automation or RPA platform.
- Experience building multi-agent architectures and orchestration workflows.
- Familiarity with UiPath Studio, Document Understanding, Integration Service, Action Center, AI Center, or related capabilities.
- Experience combining Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Power Platform, and RPA within a single solution.
- Experience with AI evaluation, responsible AI, model monitoring, and AI operationalization.
- Background spanning business analysis, process improvement, application development, and solution design.
- Experience performing code reviews or providing technical guidance to other developers.
- Microsoft AI, Azure AI, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, UiPath, or Business Analysis certifications.

Pay range and compensation package

Base salary range of $110,000 - $120,000, with potential flexibility based on experience. Bonus - 12% up to 24%. Pension - 11-12% matching.
