Become a lead Conservation Officer III in Qikiqtarjuaq or Pond Inlet. Oversee wildlife management and environmental protection while collaborating with communities and regulatory agencies. Reporting to the Wildlife Manager for North/South Baffin, the Conservation Officer III is pivotal in managing wildlife programs and enforcing regulations.

This role demands robust leadership to support field staff and ensures compliance with wildlife legislation. The CO III also plays a key role in public education, supporting sustainable practices, and co-management with local organizations. Key Responsibilities:

- Manage district operations and supervise wildlife programs
- Provide leadership and direction to field staff
- Enforce environmental legislation and conduct inspections




- Support sustainable resource management and tourism
- Lead education and co-management initiatives with communities

Requirements:

- Graduation from a two-year resource technical institute
- Three years as a Conservation Officer with supervisory experience
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and firearms license
- Small Vessel Operator Proficiency (SVOP) certification
- Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks required
