Join Alberta Kidney Care - North as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Stettler, providing exceptional patient-centered care in a dynamic hemodialysis unit.
Your role focuses on a multidisciplinary approach for patients with renal failure. As an LPN, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while collaborating with healthcare professionals. Your critical thinking and problem-solving skills will ensure protected nursing practices within the guidelines of Alberta Kidney Care. This part-time position is part of a vibrant team dedicated to high-quality patient support and involvement in ongoing training opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and care evaluations
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team
- Implement nursing care plans for renal patients
- Maintain nursing practice standards and guidelines
- Provide education to patients and families about care Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited LPN program
- Registration with the CLPNA and BCLS certification
- Experience in critical thinking and decision making
- Physical Assessment and IV Therapy certification
- Completion of Hemodialysis Training Utilize your nursing skills to deliver compassionate care to patients in the hemodialysis unit at Settler Hospital.
