Peace Valley Line Locating is looking for motivated and dependable team players to join our experienced staff.

Responsibilities

- Assist Line Locating Technicians with completing locates
- Help maintain vehicles and equipment to ensure they are ready for operation
- Use hand tools safely and effectively
- Participate in the company’s safety program and follow all safety policies and procedures
- Perform shop duties as required

Qualifications

- Must be able to pass pre-employment, pre-access and post-incident drug and alcohol testing
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all seasons
- Current CSO, H2S Alive and First Aid certificates
- Valid driver’s licence
- Experience operating ATVs, UTVs and snowmobiles is considered an asset
- Motivated, dependable and willing to learn

This position offers the opportunity to advance from Line Locating Assistant to Line Locating Technician through training, experience and skill development.

Please note: This is a local position and is not camp-based. Applicants must currently live in Fort St. John or the surrounding area and be able to report to work locally as scheduled.
