Job Purpose

You will lead the operational delivery of global clinical studies from Canada. You will work closely with global study teams, local cross-functional partners and external sites to deliver studies on time, on budget and to high quality. Key Responsibilities

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

- Lead the local study team and coordinate cross-functional contributors for assigned studies in Canada.
- Drive study start-up activities locally, including feasibility, site selection, regulatory and ethics submissions, and site activation.
- Track timelines, budgets and resourcing; identify risks and implement mitigation plans to keep studies on course.
- Oversee vendor and CRO performance and ensure alignment with study objectives and local requirements.
- Maintain trial documentation, ensure inspection readiness, and support data integrity and compliance with good clinical practice.
- Communicate study status, operational risks and decisions clearly to global and local stakeholders.
- Act as the main operational point of contact between the central study team and Canadian sites.
- Plan and execute local activation to meet recruitment targets and recruitment timelines.
- Monitor study progress using agreed metrics and lead corrective actions when performance gaps arise.
- Manage study-level financials and provide input to contract and budget negotiations.
- Ensure studies operate in line with ICH-GCP, applicable Canadian regulations and internal company standards.
- Coach and support local study staff, sharing practical improvements and building capability within the team.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:





- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing, pharmacy, clinical research or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in clinical research or clinical study operations.
- Demonstrated project management experience with timeline and budget oversight.
- Experience across study stages: start-up, recruitment and close-out.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

- Advanced degree in life sciences, clinical research or related discipline.
- Experience leading multi-site or multi-country studies and working with global central teams.
- Prior experience managing CROs, vendors or vendor oversight plans.
- Knowledge of Health Canada processes and local ethics submission requirements.
- Familiarity with electronic trial master file systems, CTMS or clinical operations tools.
- Experience supporting audits, inspections or corrective action plans.

Working Model This role is hybrid and you will be expected to work in our Mississauga office 2-3 days per week. Will not be able to accommodate full time remote schedule.
