As a Lot Team Lead, you will oversee all aspects of lot operations, including vehicle organization, lot appearance, staff coordination, inventory management, and safety. This role is critical to maintaining a skilled dealership environment and ensuring vehicles are accessible, secure, and customer-ready at all times.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead daily lot operations to support dealership goals.
- Conduct daily walkthrough of department and lot to ensure the vehicle lot is clean, organized, protected, and customer friendly.
- Monitor vehicle conditions, identify damage or issues, and report to Sales or Service teams.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturers guidelines, and safety regulations
- Work with the sales team to ensure the right vehicles are on the lot for customer demand and promotional events.
- Track vehicle movement on and off the lot and maintain accurate documentation.
- Maintain lot security, manage vehicle keys, and ensure safety protocols.
- Supervise, train, and assign tasks to a team of Lot Attendants.
- Review and monitor tire storage daily to ensure tires are pulled for install and stored accurately.
- During the winter months, work with the Property Maintenance and Lot Team to ensure walkways, doorways, and vehicles are cleared and salted promptly following snowstorms.
- Ensure safety policies, standards, and procedures are followed to achieve a protected work environment and safety for all staff, customers, and vendors.




- Additional responsibilities as assigned, subject to periodic adjustments to align with company objectives.

Required Skills

- 1+ years of experience in a leadership role or within the automotive industry is considered an asset.
- Proven leadership skills with experience supervising or coordinating staff.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
- Identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a team setting.
- Excellent punctuality and attendance with a commitment to consistently arriving at work on time.

Qualifications

- Have full body mobility and be able to twist, turn, bend at the waist, squat and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years experience in the automotive industry or customer service experience is an asset
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a Driver's Abstract.
- Record of Conduct.

Hours of work: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm. Overtime as required.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
