The Logistics & Internal Associate supports the VP Logistics & Internal in coordinating the operational and logistical needs of Casing Junior Development. The role focuses on event preparation, scheduling, internal coordination, materials, and score tracking to ensure workshops, events, and the final case competition run smoothly.

Time Commitment2–3 hours/week from September 2026 – December 2026 | 4–8 hours/week from Jan 2027 – April 2027
Main Responsibilities
- Support the VP Logistics & Internal with planning and executing workshops, program sessions, and the final case competition
- Assist with event logistics, including room bookings, schedules, materials, supplies, and day-of setup
- Create and maintain event checklists, timelines, and task trackers to ensure deadlines are met
- Coordinate with other CJD portfolios to identify logistical needs and ensure teams are prepared for upcoming events
- Assist with tracking and tabulating individual and team scores throughout the program and competition
- Maintain organized internal documents, schedules, attendance records, and operational information
- Support internal communications and ensure important deadlines, schedules, and event information are clearly communicated to the Executive Team
- Assist with planning team-building initiatives and socials to strengthen Executive Team culture
- Provide day-of operational support and troubleshoot logistical issues as they arise
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to follow through on assigned tasks
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to plan ahead and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to remain organized and adaptable in fast-paced event environments
- Previous experience with event planning, logistics, operations, or student organizations is an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is an asset

Anticipated Learning OutcomesThe Logistics & Internal Associate will gain hands-on experience in event operations, logistical planning, scheduling, and case competition execution while developing solid organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. The incumbent will gain experience creating operational timelines, coordinating across multiple teams, managing event-day logistics, and supporting internal processes. The role will also provide opportunities to develop leadership and teamwork skills while gaining a stronger understanding of how large-scale student programs and case competitions are organized and executed.
