Management Accountant Location: Inverness (Hybrid working may be offered once established in the role) Salary: Competitive + Benefits Contract: Full Time, Permanent The Chance We are delighted to be partnering with a well-established business based in Inverness to recruit a Management Accountant. The role would suit a newly qualified or recently qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant seeking their first move into industry, as well as individuals with relevant manufacturing or management accounting experience. You will work closely with operational and senior management teams, providing financial insight to support key business decisions and drive performance improvements across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts, including commentary and variance analysis. Support the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes. Produce timely and accurate management information to aid decision making.

Monitor manufacturing costs, margins and operational performance.



Analyse production variances and identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency. Assist with inventory accounting, stock reconciliations and valuation processes.

Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial controls are maintained. Work closely with the site GM. Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial performance analysis. Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements across finance and operations.

Assist with audits and statutory reporting requirements as required. ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or those nearing completion of their studies. Newly qualified accountants looking for their first step into industry are encouraged to apply.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
