As a key player in the financial services marketplace of Northern Ontario, we are excited to announce that we are currently seeking a Manager, Payments, Investments & Estates.

Reporting to the Director, Operations, the Manager, Payments, Investments and Estates plays a key leadership role in overseeing the operational delivery and strategic priorities of payment processing, investment administration, and estate services. This position ensures the accurate, timely, secure, and compliant administration of these functions while supporting exceptional member service, effective risk management, and operational excellence.

Working collaboratively across the organization, the Manager, Payments, Investments and Estates provides oversight of payment processing, investment administration, and estate activities, ensuring processes, controls, and service standards are effectively maintained. The role acts as an escalation point for complex transactions, exceptions, and member concerns, and works closely with internal partners and external service providers to resolve issues and ensure regulatory and operational requirements are met.

The Manager, Payments, Investments and Estates leads and develops a high-performing team by establishing clear objectives, monitoring performance, providing coaching and development, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. The role oversees operational risk and compliance requirements, supports audits and regulatory reviews, and ensures policies,



procedures, controls, reconciliations, reporting, and documentation are maintained to support effective governance.

Success in this role requires strong collaboration with internal departments, including Investment, Risk, Compliance, and other business partners, as well as legal, tax, and external service providers. The Manager identifies opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, enhance efficiency and member experience, and supports system and operational enhancements that contribute to the organization's strategic objectives.

Preferred candidates will possess the following qualifications:

- Minimum six years of progressive experience in financial services operations, with demonstrated experience in payments, investment administration, estates, or a related operational function.
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing teams in an operational environment.
- Solid knowledge of payment processing, investment administration, estate administration, and related financial services operations.
- Strong understanding of regulatory, compliance, risk management, and internal control requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication,



collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across the organization and with external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to manage operational risks, resolve complex issues, and make sound business decisions.
- Experience with operational reporting, reconciliations, record-keeping, procedures, and governance documentation.
- Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiencies; experience in the credit union or Canadian financial services industry is considered an asset.

Salary Range: $70,100.00 to $87,600.00 Deadline for Applications: September 28, 2026
