Tenda Canada is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a college diploma or higher and experience in digital marketing and graphic design. Fluency in reading and writing Chinese is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Photography & Image Editing: Handle straightforward product tabletop photography and execute basic photo retouching (e.g., standard pure-white backgrounds, clipping/cutouts, sizing) for e-commerce listings.
- E-Commerce & Data Maintenance: Manage regular back-end platform operations, including product listings, price and inventory updates, and order data entry.
- Functional Graphic Layouts: Create and adjust everyday promotional flyers, social media graphics, and store banners, focusing on clean layout and timely output.
- Marketing & Campaign Coordination: Coordinate promotional schedules, publish marketing content across diverse media channels, and assist with general inquiries.
- Administrative & Operational Support: Organize stationery, supplies, and promotional giveaways; assist with event planning and execution; travel to our Calgary location for project support as needed.
Requirements
- Practical Editing & Computer Skills:
Solid proficiency with photo editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop) to execute cutouts, cropping, and basic cleanups. Solid general computer literacy with fast and accurate data entry skills.
- Fast Learner & System Familiarity: High willingness to learn new tools; prior experience navigating WooCommerce, Shopify, or similar e-commerce platforms is a strong asset (internal training provided).
- Language Skills: Fluent written and spoken English is strictly required for daily operations. Working knowledge of Chinese is considered a strong asset for coordinating multilingual promotional channels.
- Work Style: Detail-oriented, well-organized, dependable, and a proactive team player who handles varied administrative and operational tasks smoothly.
