Archaic Masonry Inc. is hiring a full-time Masonry Labourer and Apprentice to join our crew. No previous masonry experience is required we are willing to train someone who is dependable, hardworking and genuinely interested in learning the trade. Construction or masonry experience is an asset but not required.

We specialize in high-quality custom stone, brick and masonry work throughout Greater Sudbury.

Responsibilities

- Mix mortar and prepare materials
- Carry and organize brick, block, stone and equipment
- Set up and clean job sites
- Assist masons with daily tasks
- Safely use basic tools and equipment
- Help assemble and dismantle scaffolding
- Learn masonry techniques and develop trade-related skills
- Follow all workplace safety procedures

Requirements
- Must have a reliable vehicle and be able to travel to different job sites throughout Greater Sudbury
- Must be available Monday to Friday
- Able to repeatedly lift and carry materials weighing up to approximately 55 lb




- Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the day
- Comfortable working outdoors in heat and changing weather conditions
- Comfortable working at heights
- Dependable, punctual and able to follow instructions
- Solid work ethic and willingness to learn
- Able to provide two work-related references
- Steel-toed work boots required

Previous construction experience, a valid Working at Heights certificate and experience using masonry tools are assets, but not required.

This is a hands-on position for someone who wants to learn a skilled trade and become part of a growing local masonry company.
