We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Teach mathematics concepts ranging from basic arithmetic to advanced calculus
- Assess student progress through regular testing and assignments, providing constructive feedback
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
- Utilize various teaching methods and technologies to enhance learning experiences
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic performance and behavior
- Participate in career development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field is required; Master’s degree is preferred
- Previous teaching experience in mathematics at the middle or high school level is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to convey them effectively to students
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse learners
- Familiarity with educational technology tools and resources for teaching mathematics is a plus
- A valid teaching certification or license as required by state regulations
