About the role:

The Hospital strives to deliver care that is centred on patientsand families. Under the general direction of the Manager ‑ MDRD, the MDRDOperator cleans, maintains, wraps sterilizes and distributes medical equipment.

Qualifications:





- Secondary School Graduation Diploma.
- Must be currently certified with Medical Device ReprocessingAssociation of Ontario (MDRAO).
- Recertification with MDRAO every five (5) years is required.
- Must be trained and competent in the core functions of MDR.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy, particularly inthe operative area, with evidence of training in asepsis or sterile technique.
- Working knowledge of O.R. instrumentation.
- Knowledge and skill of sterilization technique according tostandards for Vaporized Peroxide and Steam.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and in a fast pacedteam environment.
- Proven track record of compliance with the Code of Conduct.

Salary Range: $28.537 to 28.992
