SLB is seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused individual to join our Clairmont, AB team as a Mechanical Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and testing of various equipment, including valves, wellhead, and frac assemblies in accordance with operational demands. You will play a key role in improving equipment efficiency and maximizing asset utilization across our operations.

Roles And Responsibilities
- Execute and close out maintenance work orders in accordance with established procedures and operational priorities.
- Dismantle, inspect, assemble, and test various types of valves, wellhead, and frac assemblies.
- Conduct initial maintenance evaluations of equipment and perform daily inspections of shop tools and machinery.
- Utilize maintenance management systems to ensure full traceability of costs, time, equipment movements, work orders, and parts used.
- Reconcile post-job resources, including materials, time, and equipment,
and dispose of equipment in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in failure investigations when required.
Qualifications And Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 1-5 years of experience in a mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical skills are required; formal mechanical training or certification is considered a strong asset.
- Familiarity with forklift operation, overhead cranes, or similar equipment is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a diverse team environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada without company sponsorship.
