This position requires eligibility for a TN visa (i.e., Canadian citizenship) because it is located in Auburn Hills, MI. SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Mechatronics Design Release Engineer to support Steering Wheel Switch (SWS) components , with a solid focus on vehicle issue resolution, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and local plant/launch support.

Responsibilities Support the design, development, validation, and release of Steering Wheel Switch (SWS) components. Review returned parts at QEC and investigate vehicle-level issues to determine root causes. Perform root-cause analysis and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers and engineering teams.

Implement and validate corrective actions at local U.S. manufacturing plants. Provide hands-on support during vehicle builds, plant issues, and product launches. Manage engineering changes and support component validation and release activities.

Collaborate with Design, Electrical, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supplier Engineering teams.

Qualifications ~ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or related field. ~3-5 years of automotive engineering experience,



preferably in Design Release, Product Development, Quality, or Validation. ~ Experience with mechatronic/electromechanical automotive components. ~ Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills. ~ Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R;, 8D, or similar quality/problem-solving methodologies is preferred. ~ Willingness to provide hands-on support at U.S. manufacturing plants.
