You join the Service team and report into the Regional Service Manager - Eastern Canada.
The Medical Gas Service
Technician will be dispatched directly from their home to efficiently perform commissioning, preventative maintenance, fixed-price repair, and emergency service tasks for medical gas, air, and supply systems at various healthcare facilities located throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various medical supply systems including medical gas, medical air, medical vacuum, anesthetic drug scavanging systems and more. Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
Be the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.
1-2 years' experience in mechanical and/or electrical equipment service ~ Mechanical / Electrical troubleshooting proficiency ~ Electrical control circuit knowledge ~ Proficient in the use of hand tools, test equipment, metres ~ Able to read electrical schematics, blueprints, as-built drawings ~ 1-17 (Medical Gas Pipeline Systems) is an asset ~ Bilingual in English & French is an asset 30.00 - $33.00 hourly to start You join a field service team that are dispatched remotely from home to customer sites, most of the day is spent travelling to customers within your assigned territory to support them on‑site. You will be part of the Class 1 Service Team headquartered in Cambridge and Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Travel to these offices is required occassionally for training and meetings. #As a Medical Gas Service Technician, you work close to our customers and see firsthand how our technology performs in real conditions.
