~ Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry Overview Languages English Education ~ Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry Experience 1 year to less than 2 years On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting Hospital (staff position) Willing to relocate Urban area Relocation costs covered by employer Responsibilities Tasks Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders May conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive or curative methods Conduct microscopic and chemical analyses of laboratory samples and specimens Prepare research papers for publication and presentation Study the nature, cause and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases Supervise laboratory activities Act as consultants to other physicians Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures Supervision ~16-20 people Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS) neonatal resuscitation program Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
