Coordinate medical transportation services as a Medical Travel Supervisor in Nunavut, ensuring productive delivery and compliance with health policies. Your responsibility includes overseeing patient transfers for medical appointments. This pivotal supervisory role entails managing the Medical Travel Unit's activities to facilitate patient travel for appointments, including both emergency and routine care.
You will evaluate travel processes, ensure accurate data entry, and resolve any travel-related issues that may arise. Your leadership will guide a team committed to patient welfare and coordinated healthcare delivery across the region. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate transportation and accommodation for patients and escorts
- Manage data entry and travel information accuracy
- Investigate and resolve medical appointment issues
- Prepare bill back requests for travel agreement breaches
- Generate statistical reports to improve travel processes Requirements:
- Diploma in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum two years related experience, including one year supervising
- Familiarity with travel booking software preferred
- Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required
- Knowledge of Inuit culture and languages an asset Lead the Medical Travel Unit to enhance patient access to essential medical services in Nunavut.
