Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Metal Building System Erector to join our agile construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and securing metal building components efficiently and safely. Your expertise will help bring large-scale metal structures to life, ensuring they meet quality standards. This position offers an opportunity to work on an expansion on the GP Engelhart OSB Mill.

Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble metal building components.
- Erect steel frameworks, panels, and structural elements using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
- Operate man lifts, forklifts, and other heavy machinery safely to lift and position materials.
- Install cladding, insulation and flashing.

Qualifications





- Proven construction experience with a focus on metal building erection
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery operation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and comfortably work at heights of 70 feet.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift heavy materials, and perform manual tasks throughout long shifts.

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour Expected hours: 70.0 per week
