Position Overview:

CFT Group is seeking an experienced Mini Excavator Operator to join our team in Stittsville. This role is ideal for a skilled operator who is confident working in fast-paced environments. Starting Wage: $24 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely and efficiently operate mini excavators to perform various tasks .
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Load, move, and organize materials as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures,



and production expectations
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to achieve daily operational goals

Qualifications:

- 5–10+ years of hands-on experience operating mini excavators in construction, landscaping, utility installation, site development, recycling, or other related heavy equipment environments.
- Experience in industries such as heavy civil, mining, pipeline, recycling, or similar high-production environments is required
- Experience operating a 16–22 ton excavator with a vehicle-dismantling attachment is considered an asset
- Strong understanding of safe equipment operation and job site awareness
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Solid work ethic, dependability, and team-first attitude
