Job Purpose

The Pharmacy Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of Pharmacy Assistants and Pharmacy Technicians as well as performing the work of a Pharmacy Technician.

Qualifications

- Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists and licensed to practice in New Brunswick.
- Two years of previous experience performing duties of a Pharmacy Technician is required. Must have demonstrated supervisory ability.
- Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
- Ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Good work record.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinating and supervising the work of Pharmacy Assistants and Pharmacy Technicians
- Performing checking functions and clinical support duties
- Coordinating and supervising Pharmacy Technician student placements
- Participating in performance management, certification and interview processes of Pharmacy Assistants and Pharmacy Technicians Acquiring, preparing, checking and distributing medications and pharmaceutical products.
