Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking experienced Murex / ION Wallstreet Migration Consultantsto support a major technology modernization initiative within their Capital Markets and Treasury environment on a12-month contractinToronto, ON.

PLEASE NOTE—Hands-on Murex experience isREQUIRED for this position.Candidates without direct, hands-on Murex experience willNOTbe considered.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks

- 12-month contract with potential for extension
- Pay Rate:$100–130/hr, depending on level of experience
- 37.5-hour work week

- Collaborate with a dynamic, cross-functional team of approximately 15–20 technology professionals, alongside business, Murex, and systems integration teams

Responsibilities

- Participate throughout the full project lifecycle, includingdesign, planning, requirements, build, implementation, and testing
- Assess the current ION Wallstreet workplace and help define the desired future-state architecture and functionality
- Develop and structure migration plans for transitioning functionality fromION Wallstreet to Murex
- Evaluate existing Wallstreet functionality and determine whether it should be migrated to Murex, supported through another existing solution, or redesigned
- Identify functionality gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for modernization
- Work closely withCapital Markets, Treasury, Business, Technology, Data,



and Murex teamsto understand requirements and develop appropriate solutions
- Develop, document, and validate detailedbusiness and functional requirements
- Support the build and implementation of Murex functionality
- Contribute to testing and validation as functionality is introduced into Murex
- Oversee Murex results during implementation, identify discrepancies or issues, and work with the appropriate teams to troubleshoot and resolve them
- Support the ongoing refinement of the solution until functionality meets business requirements
- Develop a strong understanding of the lifecycle of relevant trading and treasury products and how functionality moves across the broader technology ecosystem
- Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, helping translate existing Wallstreet functionality into future-state Murex requirements
- Collaborate with a broader project team, include system integration partners and other technology and business stakeholders
- Bring a naturally curious, analytical approach to understanding complex existing processes and determining how they can be improved

Qualifications

- Hands-on experience with Murex is mandatory




- Experience withION Wallstreetis highly valued but is not required
- Strong experience working withMurexin a Capital Markets or Treasury environment
- Strong understanding oftrading and/or treasury product lifecycles
- Experience withFX, Money Market, Term Funding, or Short-Term Fundingproducts is highly valued
- Strong understanding of Capital Markets and/or Treasury processes
- Experience participating in large-scaletechnology modernization, platform migration, or transformation initiatives
- Demonstrated experience translating current-state functionality into future-state business and technology requirements
- Comfortable working across bothbusiness and technology teams
- Experience with requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, and testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Naturally curious with the ability to ask thoughtful questions and quickly understand complex environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively within a dynamic, cross-functional project team
- Experience with cloud-based or SaaS technology environments is considered an asset
