NWI Precision specializes in high-precision machining of helicopter masts, turbine shafts, engine thrust links, and nuclear pressure vessel components used in the aerospace and nuclear industries worldwide. NWI Precision is currently seeking an experienced NDT Technician.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented NDT Technician to perform non-destructive testing to ensure product compliance with technical specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting precision components using NDT, identifying defects playing a vital role in our quality control and assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

NDT (Non-Destructive Testing):

- Perform NDT inspections using methods such as ultrasonic (UT), magnetic particle (MPI), liquid penetrant (PT), radiographic (RT), and/or eddy current testing (ET).
- Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
- Prepare NDT reports and maintain detailed inspection records.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ASNT, ISO 9712, or equivalent).
- Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to provide feedback on product quality and potential defects.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Must have CGSP Certification in NDT methods (Level II, or III as applicable).
- Proven experience operating CMM equipment and writing CMM programs.
- Strong understanding of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Familiarity with inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.




- Good computer skills and experience with measurement software.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or other relevant quality standards.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and quality documentation.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand, bend, and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
- Work in a manufacturing or inspection workplace with exposure to noise and other shop conditions.
