About Nutrics

Nutrics is a personalized meal planning and nutrition platform. We build macro-aware meal plans, adaptive delivery scheduling, and recipes that fit how people actually eat. We are pre-launch, building fast, and this is one of the first roles on the team.

Why This Role Exists

Every meal plan, macro target, and recipe recommendation we generate needs to be grounded in real nutrition science. We need a nutrition expert in the room to define that logic from the ground up, not review it after the fact. This is a role where nutrition expertise shapes the product itself, rather than being layered onto a finished one.

What You'll Do

- Design the nutritional framework behind our meal planning engine — macro targets, meal composition logic, dietary constraints
- Work with kitchen partners to validate their recipes against our nutritional standards and bring them onto the platform
- Maintain ongoing partner relationships to source new recipes and expand our culinary offering over time
- Help standardize the process and criteria for onboarding new kitchen partners quickly and consistently
- Work directly with the founder to translate nutrition science into product decisions




- Engage with early users to understand what's working toward their goals and feed that insight back into the product
- Define what personalization means for Nutrics, grounded in science rather than trend

Who We're Looking For

- A registered dietitian or nutritionist with applied or clinical experience
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and building process from scratch
- Genuinely interested in product outcomes, not only nutrition guidance in isolation
- Motivated by ownership and long-term impact on the company's direction

Vision

Most nutrition tools fail in one of two ways: they track without helping people plan, or they plan without adapting to the person. Nutrics is built to do both — grounded in real macro science, personalized to the individual, without making healthy eating feel like a second job.

Compensation

Compensation Equity, vesting over 4 years with a 1-year cliff.

Pay: $21.60-$27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Etobicoke, ON (Peel District)
