Elevate cancer care with your nursing expertise at Cancer Care Alberta in the Clinical Trials Unit. This role emphasizes oncology and clinical trial experience in a dynamic research setting. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in coordinating cancer clinical trials, from identifying eligible participants to performing patient assessments and safety monitoring.
You'll administer treatments and support data collection while ensuring compliance with ICH and GCP guidelines. Your leadership and holistic approach will aid in promoting the well-being and safety of patients and their families as you act as a central communication point. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate cancer clinical trials and participant eligibility
- Execute patient assessments and safety monitoring
- Administer cancer treatments, blood collections, and ECGs
- Maintain source documentation and data confidentiality
- Liaise effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams Requirements:
- Completion of accredited nursing education program
- Active registration with CRNA or eligible
- 2 years of clinical trials experience
- Familiarity with NET/endocrine cancer diagnoses
