Drive innovation in optical systems as a System Architect Verification Engineer at Ranovus in Ottawa. This full time role focuses on behavioral simulations and control verification for advanced optical engines. In this position, you will engage in developing and executing behavioral simulations and control verification tests for innovative optical engines.

Your expertise in System Verilog and RTL will be essential in validating control algorithms and conducting essential bring-up sequences before chip availability. The role necessitates a solid foundation in digital or mixed-signal verification and involves collaboration with the ASIC team and firmware developers on critical components. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop System Verilog behavioral models for pre-silicon simulation




- Build verification testbenches for various control sequences
- Verify feedback control algorithms for PIC calibration
- Perform RTL-level verification in partnership with ASIC team
- Correlate simulations to laboratory measurement results Requirements:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years' experience
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and RTL simulation tools
- Understanding of feedback control for PIC
- Familiarity with optical components like modulators
- Knowledge of Python or MATLAB for data analysis Utilize your expertise in System Verilog and optical control to enhance cutting-edge products at Ranovus.
