We are looking to hire an energetic order picker to assist us in preparing orders for shipping. The Picker will utilize order sheets to pick a wide variety of candy and snack items and placing the items in baskets while following specific instructions. Once an order is picked it is passed on to another team member to be checked and confirm that correct items and quantities were selected. To ensure success in this position you will need to perform to a high level of accuracy. Top candidates will be upstanding, organized, energetic, and able to perform under pressure.

Picker Responsibilities

- Picking orders as requested by management.
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organized.
- Packing incoming stock away, taking inventory and reporting shortages.




- Assisting in order picking related tasks throughout the warehouse.

Picker Requirements:
- High school diploma, or suitable equivalent.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work harmoniously with diverse range of people.
- Proficient with using tools required for this position.
- Physically agile and dexterous.
- Proficient organizational skills.
- A passion for candy, snacks, and pop culture is a plus!

This is a seasonal position running until the end of December.

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $17.95 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week

Experience

- order picking: 1 year (preferred)
