Role Description The Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON. This position is responsible for guiding patients through their treatment journey, including coordinating consultations, reviewing treatment plans, and ensuring patients understand their options and timelines. Daily tasks include discussing financial arrangements, explaining insurance coverage, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records.

The coordinator will collaborate closely with the orthodontist and clinical team to support efficient patient flow and high standards of care. The role also involves providing friendly,



responsive customer service, answering patient questions, and helping to create a positive experience at every visit.

Qualifications

- Experience in sales is preferred
- Ability to support and coordinate orthodontic Treatment Planning and present treatment options clearly to patients.
- Knowledge of Insurance processes, including benefits verification, claims coordination, and financial discussions.
- Robust Customer Service skills with a focus on empathy, professionalism, and patient satisfaction.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, families, and the clinical team.
- Basic understanding of Dental Care and orthodontic procedures to explain treatments accurately and confidently.
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is an asset.
- Proficiency with practice management software and general computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
