Lead public engagement initiatives as the Outreach Program Representative with Niagara Region. This hybrid position focuses on water education, event planning, and community outreach efforts. Reporting to the Engagement and Education Coordinator for Water and Wastewater Services, you will plan and execute the Niagara Children’s Water Festival and manage public outreach programs.

Your role will involve collaborating with volunteers and coordinating community education around water services. The position combines event management and strategic communication while supporting water-related initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and lead the Niagara Children’s Water Festival
- Recruit and manage volunteers for events




- Coordinate the Water Wagon program and outreach
- Develop promotional and educational materials
- Host presentations at schools and community events Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Event Management or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in event planning and outreach
- Solid presentation and communication skills
- Knowledge of water-related issues is an asset
- Experience in budget management and grant writing Engage the community through innovative outreach and education about water services at Niagara Region.
