Duties

- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport outreach meals, supplies ,on a designated routes
- Assist with loading and unloading heavy items, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed
- Engage with community members courteously, providing compassionate care and information about services available.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection records
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered during transit




- Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs promptly
- Support outreach activities by setting up equipment or materials at various community locations as needed

Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws applicable to commercial driving
- Criminal record check
- Food Safe Handlers course must be done prior to first shift
