Wave Health is a multidisciplinary health clinic opening November 2026 on Calgary’s iconic 4th Street in Mission. We offer integrated, expert-led care that feels as current and considered as the people it serves — occupying the space between premium healthcare and modern wellness, without compromising on either.

We’re bringing together contemporary practitioners across chiropractic, physiotherapy, registered massage therapy, psychology, acupuncture, osteopathy, athletic therapy, nutrition and more. We’re looking for a Part-Time Front Desk Coordinator to work alongside our Office Manager and clinical team, helping every patient feel welcomed, looked after and at ease.

The Opportunity

- Be one of the first points of contact at a new clinic, helping create a warm and thoughtful patient experience from the very first interaction
- Work in a space designed to feel calm, considered and welcoming, where the details of each visit matter
- Work closely with our Office Manager and practitioners to keep the day running smoothly
- Learn a modern technology stack built around Jane for online booking, charting, payments and direct billing
- Join Wave at the beginning and help shape its culture, with room for your role and hours to evolve as the clinic grows

The Role

- Front of house — welcome patients, assist with intake and consent forms, manage arrivals and departures, and set a reassuring tone for every visit




- Scheduling — book appointments, manage changes and cancellations, and help keep practitioner calendars organized
- Payments and billing — process payments and receipts, assist with insurance direct billing, and bring questions or discrepancies to the Office Manager
- Patient communication — answer calls, emails and general inquiries with warmth, clarity and professionalism
- Clinic support — help practitioners with day-to-day needs and keep reception organized, calm and inviting
- Team coordination — share updates, notice what needs attention and support smooth handovers between front desk shifts

Who You Are

- Friendly, confident and professional, with a natural ability to make people feel comfortable
- Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new software; experience with Jane is an asset
- Experienced in healthcare, a medical office, hospitality, customer service or another patient- or client-facing setting; direct billing experience is an additional asset
- Organized and attentive to detail, even when balancing bookings, conversations and phone calls
- A clear communicator who stays calm and helpful when the clinic gets busy
- Dependable,



comfortable working independently and willing to take initiative
- Careful with personal and health information, and thoughtful about patient privacy
- Interested in healthcare and excited to help build a welcoming clinic culture from day one

How We Work

- Part-time employment of approximately 17–26 hours per week, complementing our full-time Office Manager
- A likely mix of weekday, evening and Saturday hours, with some scheduling flexibility
- Potential additional hours for vacation and sick-day coverage and busier periods
- Anticipated start in late October / early November 2026 for onboarding and training, ahead of the November opening
