Must have experience in maintenance, electrical, plumbing, painting, and general repairs. Maintenance courses are preferred. Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical building systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot building maintenance problems and determine appropriate corrective actions. Perform permitted minor electrical work, including replacement of lighting components, switches, receptacles, and other fixtures. Repair and maintain doors, locks, hinges, cabinets, drywall, walls, and other building components.

Perform painting, surface preparation, drywall repair, patching, caulking, sealing, and general finishing work. Inspect mechanical rooms, building equipment, and building systems, identify deficiencies, and document findings. Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform maintenance, adjustments, and installations.

Complete scheduled preventive-maintenance work orders and maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities. Perform housekeeping and laundry duties as required, including cleaning common areas, offices, hallways, and washrooms; cleaning and disinfecting surfaces; Assist the Manager with maintenance, housekeeping, inspections, supply management, and other operational duties as required. Work additional hours when required to support maintenance operations, housekeeping coverage, emergencies, or other operational needs.

Important: The position is subject to permanent changes in days and hours of work according to the home's needs. Able to stretch, reach, bend, and stoop regularly throughout the shift.



Current and clear criminal record check from a Canadian Police Information Centre, including a vulnerable sector check completed within the last 6 months.
