Permanent Lighting Installation Technician – Subcontractor

North Point Property Services – Prince George, BC2 Positions AvailablePay: $23–$44/hour, based on experience

North Point Property Services is looking for two reliable subcontractors to join us for permanent exterior lighting installations throughout Prince George and surrounding areas.

We are looking for people who are comfortable on roofs and ladders, work efficiently, and can produce clean, professional installations. Experience installing Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights is a major asset.

What You Need

- Your own reliable truck
- Your own ladder(s)
- Drill/impact driver
- Wire splicers
- Wire cutters
- Basic hand tools
- Valid driver’s licence
- Comfortable working on high roofs and ladders
- Reliable, professional and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail

Preferred Experience
- Previous Govee permanent lighting installation experience
- Exterior/permanent lighting installation
- Roofing, construction, gutters or similar exterior work
- Experience working safely at heights
- Your own liability insurance is preferred

What You’ll Be Doing
- Installing Govee permanent exterior lighting systems
- Mounting lights cleanly and evenly
- Routing and concealing wiring
- Making proper connections and extensions




- Installing controllers and power supplies
- Testing systems and ensuring everything works correctly
- Maintaining a clean and skilled job site
- Working safely on ladders and residential roofs

Compensation $23–$44/hour depending on experience, skill level and ability to complete installations efficiently and independently.

Experienced installers who already have the necessary equipment and can confidently complete Govee installations will be considered toward the higher end of the pay range.

This is a subcontractor position. You will be expected to provide your own truck, ladders and basic tools.

We are currently looking to fill 2 positions and are interested in building an ongoing working relationship with the right installers.
