- Provide personal hygiene and comfort care to residents
- Provide morning and evening personal hygiene care
- Distribute meals and provide assistance with eating
- Assist residents with mobility throughout the residence
- Maintain appropriate and continuous supervision of residents
- Immediately inform the nurse of any behavioral changes or unusual reactions
- Actively participate in recreational activities organized for residents
- Perform certain housekeeping duties, including laundering clothing and linens
- Contribute to cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and infection prevention
- Follow LOKIA Group procedures and protocols
- Administer medication only with Loi 90 certification and the required approval
- Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor
- Work under the authority of the Director of Care

Requirements

- DEP or AEP in Personal Support Work in Institutional and Home Care Settings
- RAC or an RAC AP-RPA exemption letter issued by a CFP (public vocational training centre)
- PDSP certification and physical card (formerly PDSB)
- Current CPR certification (minimum 16-hour training)
- Loi 90 certification required for this position
- 0–2 years of experience in a similar role
- Empathy, patience, and respect in interactions
