Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in delivering exceptional patient care by assisting with medication preparation, inventory management, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of medical terminology and experience in a pharmacy or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns from patients.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety protocols.
- Support medication administration processes under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace.
- Document medication dispensing activities accurately in the pharmacy management system.

Requirements





- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication and understanding of prescriptions.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a hospital environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Solid attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and support within the pharmacy setting.
