Physician Outreach and Social Media Representative Ontario Heart Center (OHC) is committed to keeping hearts healthy and solid by providing quality and timely patient care that promotes early diagnosis, prevention and cardiovascular risk management. OHC is looking for a focused and committed individual to promote that vision on social media while managing physician relations in the Golden Horseshoe area of southern Ontario. Enhancing OHC’s referral base for cardiology testing and consultations among primary care providers in Oakville, Hamilton, Niagara Falls and adjacent communities.
Building and maintaining preferred partner relationships with key healthcare professionals. Making on‑site visits to enhance OHC’s reputation and visibility among providers. Resolving minor patient care/customer service issues on‑site.
Social Media
Host short‑form video, 2–3x/week: appear on camera for TikTok/Reels‑style videos covering cardiac health education, prevention, and patient‑navigation or family‑navigation topics.
Write and adapt scripts: turn our existing blog content pillars (symptom awareness, understanding tests like ECGs/echoes, prevention, patient choice & referrals, family/community heart health,
seasonal moments) into short, plain‑language video scripts.
Film and edit: shoot on a phone, edit with CapCut or similar — fast and consistent beats polished and slow.
Post and manage the accounts: publish across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook on a regular cadence and respond to comments/DMs professionally.
Run basic paid promotion: set up and monitor Meta Ads Manager boosts on our top‑performing posts (geo‑targeted around our 9 clinic locations) and a small TikTok Spark Ads test; training provided if you haven’t done this before. Self‑starter with initiative and ability to work autonomously in a primarily field‑based role. Familiarity with basic medical terminology and issues confronting Ontario’s health care system. please include a short (30–60 second) video introducing yourself with your application.
Some experience creating short‑form video content, personal or professional; Basic video editing skills (CapCut, InShot, or similar). we'll train, but curiosity about the "why" behind performance matters more than prior certification. #
