Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for a Physiotherapist & Acupuncturist & Osteopathic Practitioner based at Medi-Club Physio in Montreal, QC. The practitioner will assess clients through detailed health histories, physical examinations, and functional tests, and will develop individualized treatment plans integrating physiotherapy, acupuncture, and osteopathic techniques as appropriate. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering hands-on therapy, prescribing exercise and rehabilitation programs, providing client education on injury prevention and self-management, and documenting all clinical encounters in accordance with professional standards.
The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals in the clinic, participating in case discussions, and contributing to a supportive, client-centered care environment.
Qualifications
- Professional training and valid licensure/registration in Physiotherapy, Acupuncture, and Osteopathy (or strong competency in at least two of these disciplines), in accordance with Quebec regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated skills in client assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of evidence-based therapeutic interventions for musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate clients, build trust, and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation, follow professional and ethical standards, and adhere to clinic policies and safety protocols.
- Experience in sports therapy, massage therapy, or orthotics fitting is an asset, as is prior work in private practice or rehabilitation clinic settings.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, openness to learning new techniques, and capacity to work independently while managing a part-time clinical caseload.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is highly beneficial for client communication in Montreal.
