TSG STAFFING SERVICES is recruiting for a PLANNER SCHEDULER (TURNAROUND) for an prospect in the Greater Calgary Area in an Operating Plant environment.

:

- Applying trade knowledge, field condition information, relevant technical data, personal experience, and where appropriate, input from maintenance, operations and technical resources to develop high-quality executable plans
- Responsible for planning and scheduling different phases of engineering, procurement & construction primarily related to the Oil & Gas Industry
- Directly interfaces with engineers, construction supervision, and management as necessary at the planning stages of the project and during the execution of the project.
- Directly interfaces with the Client Project Management team, when necessary, and provides appropriate solutions related to planning/ scheduling
- Prepares Resource-loaded Baseline Schedules and Schedule Basis documents, detailing execution/ contracting strategies, assumptions, allowances and critical path analysis
- Develops and maintains Task Lists and Bill of Materials to ensure complete and accurate records and current with planning standards
- Independently provides analysis and workarounds, when required, to mitigate schedule delays




- Works with project controls counterparts – cost analysts & estimators – to align schedules with estimate, cost and earned value progress systems
- Responsible for preparation and presentation of Schedule Risk Analysis, when required
- Responsible for collecting and reporting schedule KPIs at individual project and program levels

Job Requirements:

- An Engineering degree and/or relevant qualification in the field of Planning/ Scheduling and Project Management
- 10+ years of experience in the field of Planning and Scheduling
- Preference will be given to individuals with relevant industry recognized Planning/ Scheduling Certifications (example PSP, PMI-SP)
- Expert knowledge of CPM scheduling concepts
- Expert level of proficiency in Primavera P6 and SAP
- Some exposure to Microsoft Power BI application is an asset
- Software skills associated with export/ import of schedule data using Excel and other database tools
- Experience working on sustaining capital type programs with multiple small and medium-sized projects
- Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing and solving problems

Pay rates or salaries will be based on experience and current market standards.
