Northern Lights College seeks a part-time Practical Nursing Lab Instructor in Fort St. John, BC, to teach PNUR 245 Lab.
Your role will blend nursing education with hands-on skills training in a supportive environment. This temporary appointment runs from November 2026 to January 2027, requiring 12-15 hours weekly. You will integrate diverse instructional strategies to enhance nursing skills that promote health and healing. A collaborative approach ensures a rich learning workplace for students experiencing acute health challenges. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver PNUR 245 Lab through simulation and hands-on practice
- Employ diverse instructional strategies to foster learning
- Collaborate with the Health Sciences Department
- Commit to student motivation and achievement
- Integrate Indigenous cultural safety in teaching Requirements:
- Accredited Diploma in Practical Nursing or BSN
- Valid practicing license as LPN, RPN, RN, or NP
- 3-5 years of recent Canadian nursing experience
- Course work in Indigenous cultural safety
