Who We’re Looking For
Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at building strong supplier relationships? We’re searching for a dedicated Procurement & Operations Coordinator to join the Wud team and support the sourcing and purchasing of materials, products, equipment, and services that bring our ideas to life.
As a key team member, you will play an important role in ensuring we have the right suppliers, materials, pricing, and timelines to support our operations and growth. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams across product development, manufacturing, operations, finance, and our lab.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys negotiating, comparing options, solving problems, managing multiple priorities, and building efficient procurement processes in a fast-paced setting, while sharing our passion for sustainability, innovation, and thoughtfully made products.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors for materials, equipment, supplies, and services, considering price, quality, availability, lead times, service, and total cost.
- Coordinate purchasing activities in accordance with Wud’s procurement practices, working closely with Operations, Finance, Lab, and other relevant teams.
- Prepare and maintain purchase orders and coordinate orders from approval through delivery and payment.
- Ensure all required documentation is collected, accurate, and properly maintained for each purchase and supplier transaction.
- Coordinate domestic and international logistics, including shipping arrangements and required documentation.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels based on lead times, current stock, usage, and pending orders.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier contracts, delivery schedules, pricing, and payment schedules.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with suppliers while identifying opportunities to improve pricing, quality, lead times, and overall supplier performance.
What You Need to Have
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, supply chain, operations, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with supplier agreements, quotations, purchase orders, and procurement documentation.
- Experience sourcing fabricated components, raw materials, packaging, equipment, or engineered parts is an asset.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Valid passport and the ability and availability to travel as required.
- Flexibility to occasionally work outside normal business days and hours when operational needs require it.

Additional Details
Type of Work: Full-time, In-Person
Compensation: $45,000–$55,000
Vacation: 3 weeks
