Full Time We’re looking for a detail-oriented Product Data Specialist to help manage and improve product information across our digital channels. In this role, you’ll support product data quality, category optimization, and defined improvement initiatives using established processes, governance standards, and approved AI tools. This role is a strong opportunity to build experience in product data management, category optimization, e-commerce, and responsible AI use.

You’ll contribute to a better customer shopping experience while partnering with teams across Product Data, Merchandising, Operations, and Technology. As the PDM organization continues to adopt AI and automation, you’ll also help shape how product data is managed more efficiently at scale. Join our collaborative team as a Product Data Specialist .

We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes. Manage product data and category optimization activities using established frameworks, governance standards, and trusted sources. Create and maintain web hierarchies, primary product hierarchy structures, product attributes, lists of values, facets, display structures, and classification rules.

Conduct product and category data audits to identify gaps in quality, completeness, consistency, duplication, classification, and customer-facing information. Complete data cleanup, enrichment, backfill, and structural improvements to support accurate and useful product information. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, validate changes, resolve product information issues, and communicate risks or downstream impacts.

Support the implementation of approved product data changes and escalate complex issues or decisions requiring additional expertise or business approval. Use approved AI and automation tools responsibly to improve efficiency while reviewing outputs for accuracy, completeness, relevance, and compliance. Hands‑on experience using approved AI tools responsibly, including writing explicit prompts, grounding outputs in trusted source information, and reviewing results for accuracy, completeness, relevance, and compliance. ~ Ability to recognize AI limitations and know when human validation or escalation is required.



~1–2 years of experience working with product information, product content, e-commerce data, product data management, merchandising, business, or a related field. ~ Experience supporting product data audits, enrichment, taxonomy or hierarchy updates, attribute and facet management, or category improvement initiatives. ~ Working knowledge of Product Information Management systems such as STEP or MIRAKL, Microsoft Excel, product attributes, lists of values, facets, classification, and data quality principles. ~ Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage defined initiatives and collaborate across technical, operational, merchandising, and business teams. ~ French language proficiency is considered an asset.
